The Everyday Supernatural God: Just Believe

You can have anything, be anything, own anything and change anything in your world you desire! If God wills it, you have the power to do it.

Taking steps will be easy as God is lighting the path right now.

God is renewing you and bringing encouragement through some unexpected places.

People used to think that when God did supernatural things it was because He had "special" people He would bless. But now Gods people are realizing that the anointing is in everyone. God wants to manifest His Presence and His ways – all He needs you to do is enjoy Him and believe.
Everything  we receive in the Holy Spirit realm is by faith – not by works or by "qualifying." He already qualified you 100% to be "Partaker of the Divine Nature." I really do believe that when you are light-hearted and enjoying the Lord, things just "happen" around you. The glory of the Lord comes – not through striving and trying and getting under condemnation, but by allowing the anointing to make you God-conscious and not self-conscious.
Supernatural Encounters at the Airport
The thing I hate about the spirit of religion is that it always makes you try and do what only God can do. You find yourself taking on false responsibilities and trying to do things that God hasn't asked you to do! I've found that the lighter I am, the more God seems to work around me.
For instance, when I was at the airport (I love airports) several months ago, I wasn't thinking about anything, so I just got on the train to go to my concourse and gate. I got off the train and went up the escalator. When I got to the top I heard a man's voice calling out to me, "Mrs. Walters, Mrs. Walters." I turned around and saw the bartender from the International Lounge waving at me and running towards me.
"I was praying that I would see you today," he said. I thought that was odd because I only see him when I am in the International Lounge. He continued, "I want you to pray for my back, I am in a lot of pain and have to work all day."
"OK, I said. "Let's go over near the Sky Lounge and I will pray for you."
We walked over and I put my hands on his back and prayed – he was immediately healed. "Praise God," he said, "I'll take you to your gate," and he grabbed my ticket. "Oh, you're on the wrong concourse," he said.
"What? I never go to the wrong concourse." I can honestly say that almost every week I am in Atlanta Airport, and in my years of traveling I have never ever gotten off the train onto the wrong concourse. I realized that while I was enjoying the Lord, He led me off the train to where the man was believing to see me! I got back on the train and went to the right gate and got on the plane when it boarded. I had a nice upgrade seat in Business Class and I sat down to relax.
Divine Appointments on a Plane
The flight attendant was handing out water, and when she came to me she stopped and said, "Oh, I think you are Mrs. Walters aren't you?" She was smiling, "I've been to your conferences!"
"Oh, OK great," I replied.
"Would you come to the front and pray for the other flight attendant? She's very conservative in her faith, not familiar with the concepts you teach, and she's wanting prayer."
She was smiling at me. I said, "No, I am not going to pray for a woman who doesn't even know me, especially in public on a plane." I wasn't being mean, but I do know that most people who are conservative in their faith and unfamiliar with the giftings do not want anyone praying for them publicly on planes.
"Oh please come, she's hungry and wants you to pray for her." I realized this gal had already set it up, so I got out of my seat and followed her to the front. I prayed for the other flight attendant, and the Lord gave me a Word of Knowledge. She was blown away – not having heard much about the gifts of the Spirit. While I was praying, a man got up out of his seat in Business and tugged on the first flight attendant's jacket.
"Excuse me," he said, "Where are our drinks?" The flight attendant turned to him and said (nicely), "Please would you sit down sir, we're praying."
The man looked at us with big eyes open and said, "OK," and went back to his seat. When I finished praying for the woman, I turned to walk back to my seat. The man who had asked for the drinks, tugged on my jacket as I went by. I thought he was going to complain.
"Do we all get a wish?" he asked.
I don't like to waste opportunities so I said, "Why not?" I took a moment to pray for everyone for a wish. The word "wish" by the way means "to desire; long; yearn; a desire or hope for something to happen." So, that's easy for God, but this story hasn't ended yet.
Willingness for Plans to Be Interrupted
I settled back into my seat. I was so grateful to be in Business Class and have a nice comfortable seat for my flight. I closed my eyes and then right away I had a vision. I saw a soldier walking up the aisle of the plane. God spoke to me at the same time in the vision, "Give him your seat." Now, to be honest with you, I wasn't too happy about that. I do often give my seat to Servicemen, but I didn't feel like it right then. I was tired but I had this thought, "I will if he's coming and not going." That was my thought, not God's thought.
I peeked open my eyes and didn't see anyone in uniform. I was relieved, really. About 2 minutes later, I looked up and a soldier had stepped onto the plane and was walking my way. I caught his eye as he got to me and I asked him, "Where are you going?"
"I am just returning from Afghanistan," he looked tired. "I just got off an overnight flight."
He was passing me so I jumped up quickly. "Oh, please have my seat," and I grabbed my purse.
"Oh no, it's OK," he said. But I took my bag anyway and grabbed his ticket, so I knew where to go and sit (turned out to be a middle seat). He was very grateful, not just for the nice seat but because I acknowledged him and was grateful to him for his service. It was my willingness to follow God's lead that blessed these different people – I stayed light. I was glad for it and I still I got to where I was going and had a great conference somewhere...
Don't be heavy...be as light as a feather... "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13). Remember, you don't have to "qualify" to be used by God and it's about yielding to the Holy Spirit, not trying to work FOR Him.
